Hey there! My name is Ken Thompson and I'm all about technology. I love learning about any hardware and software I can get my hands on. I pride myself on creativity and the ability to learn new skills very quickly.
Currently I am the IT Administrator for Job1USA, and have been for almost 6 years. My current job has helped me grow in the IT field. When I started with Job1USA in 2003 they were running off of a desktop acting as a server and with my help they are now running 6 servers with on and off location backup, a VPN network, and VoIP.
I attended Bowling Green State University for 4 years. I started off in education and wanted to become an art teacher. Eventually computers caught up with me and I moved to Computer Animation where I received my BFA. Animation ended up not being my passion but computers and design were. My fist job out of college was doing technical support and web design for Centurion Technologies, a company which I had a hand in starting. At Centurion Technologies I got my first taste for servers and networking, building several networks for clients as well as their websites. Unfortunately the company didn't make it and I was forced to move on but there is always a silver lining. I moved from Centurion Technologies right into my current job and have been there ever since. In September 2007 I married my beautiful wife Rebecca and we live in Maumee, OH with our two dogs, Ana and Ein.
